Your Free Copy of Math Monthly
Explore mathematics and physics with Professor Jonathan D. Tullis and discover what it is like to be part of the Math Monthly program.
I am offering this free digital edition of Math Monthly to students and curious readers interested in joining our program. Enjoy the journal, explore the ideas, and consider becoming a member to participate in our live group sessions.
Live Group Sessions
We meet through live streaming software essentially every day to explore mathematics and physics and develop the journal together. The software we use may change.
Daytime window: 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Central Time
Evening window: 6–10 p.m. Central Time
Sessions generally last two to four hours and take place within these windows. These are availability windows rather than fixed start times. Members receive an email when I log on so they know when to join.
Scheduling may vary. Members will be notified of schedule changes by email.
Private Session Recordings
Session recordings are saved and stored privately for members to review later. If you cannot attend live or would like to revisit a discussion, you can return to the recordings at your convenience.
Request a Lesson or Podcast Topic
Members may submit one topic request per month for a lesson, podcast, or group discussion. Tell me about a mathematical or physical concept you would like to explore.
I select the topics we cover. Requests are not guaranteed, but I generally aim to address selected requests within a day or two or incorporate them into an upcoming lesson.
Topic requests are for learning and discussion. I do not complete homework or provide answers to quizzes or exams. Please do not submit assigned problems for me to solve.
Join Math Monthly
Join our live group sessions, review private recordings, and help shape future discussions with your topic requests.
